What's new in the anniversary model? Rumored to be a 5.8-inch (2436 × 1125, 462 ppi) OLED screen that will take up the entire bezel of the phone thanks to super thin edges. The home button will be a thing of the past - expect a special "command" area at the bottom of the screen, similar to the one that has long been present in Android.

The back of the device (again, judging by rumors and leaks) will be made of glass, similar to the iPhone 4. This will allow you to charge your phone wirelessly using contact induction charging. Similar technology is already used in the Apple Watch.

The phone may also lose the TouchID fingerprint sensor, which has already become a familiar way to unlock the device. Contradictory rumors for many months have been broadcasting either that TouchID will work from under the screen, or that the sensor will migrate to the back of the device. Judging by the latest news, the iPhone X will lose fingerprinting altogether, but it will begin to recognize its owner by sight.

It is assumed that in addition to the usual front camera, the new iPhone will have a set of sensors on the front, with which it will be able to receive a three-dimensional picture of the face.

This will not only prevent you from deceiving the gadget by holding a photo up to it. Judging by the data obtained from the iOS 11 code, iPhone X owners will be able to send animated emoji to their friends: you smile at the camera, and the cat, robot or other character on the icon also smiles. You wink and they wink.

In total, we have: a device that is only slightly larger than the iPhone 7, but with a huge screen - almost like the 7 Plus. Add here induction charging, two main cameras for landscape and portrait shooting and a set of sensors for entertainment with facial capture. Well, it's a great toy.

According to the most modest forecasts, all this pleasure will cost from 999 to 1300 dollars, depending on the amount of flash memory. Will anyone lay out such a solid amount to play around with new technologies a year earlier? Of course it will, what doubts there can be!

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

Contrary to everyone's expectations, the name with the eight, most likely, will go to those models that, logically, should have been called the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus. This data was again obtained from the leaked iOS 11 GM. But there are almost no other details about these two devices.

There is no doubt that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will receive a new fast A11 processor with a more advanced graphics accelerator, as well as improved cameras. Actually, the same could be said about each previous generational change. It seems that the main difference from last year's models will be a tempered glass back cover. Perhaps this will give it compatibility with iPhone X wireless charging.

What about the rest of the chips? They, apparently, will remain exclusive to the new flagship model for at least another year.

Apple Watch

This watch appeared in 2015, and in 2016 received the first update. Then came the Apple Watch Series 2 with full protection against water ingress, that is, suitable not only for walking in the rain, but also for going to the pool. The design hasn't changed at all.

Now everyone is waiting for the Apple Watch Series 3 - their main novelty will be the ability to connect directly to the LTE network, bypassing the iPhone if it is not within Bluetooth range. What does this mean in practice? Well, for example, the ability to take only Apple Watch and wireless headphones for a run, and at the same time make and receive incoming calls.

It seems that these are trifles, but in certain situations they can come in handy. Again, with the improvement of Siri's artificial intelligence, the iPhone itself will gradually be needed less and less. If you can request information and receive a response by voice, then a set of watches and headphones may someday be an attractive alternative to a telephone.

The appearance of the Apple Watch, it seems, will not change again, and it is unlikely that a SIM card tray will be added. The iPad already comes with a software SIM; it is logical if the smartwatch will be the first device to get rid of it completely.

New Apple TV

At one time, before each presentation, analysts liked to tell that the company was about to roll out its own TV. And time after time, instead of a TV, we were presented with something else: a set-top box that allows you to watch movies and listen to music from iTunes.
