The Download Master program has an extension that can be installed in the browser. A very big plus of the program is that if it happens that your Internet connection is interrupted, you can resume downloading without losing the downloaded part of the file. Still there, everything is succinctly grouped into categories, for example, all possible downloadable files, videos automatically fall under the “Video” category and are downloaded into one folder, various programs are downloaded into another folder. Download and install the Download Master program.

Open the desired video. Click on the Download Master program icon located near the address bar.

Click "Download video".

If for some reason you do not have the Download Master extension for the browser installed, or you simply do not want to clog the browser with all sorts of extensions, then you can download any files through this program and without an extension, by copying the download links into the program itself. We go on the Internet and find the video we need. Above, in the address bar, copy the video address.

Open the Download Master program window and click the "Add" button.

A new window has appeared, where a link was automatically inserted from the clipboard (if the line is empty, then right-click and select "Paste"). The category is already set automatically (again, if it is not set, then we set it in accordance with our file). Click "Start Upload".

The download has begun. If necessary, you can click "Pause" and the download will stop.

Host is the IP address or domain name of your site. Since you may not know the IP, I recommend entering the domain name with http://.

You need to enter the login and password that the provider provided you. Well, the standard port for ftp is 21. Just remember this. If everything is entered correctly, the file structure of your server will become available in the right window. On the left will be what is on your computer. Thus, you can upload by dragging to the right window.

When confirming the rights to the site in the webmaster tools, you may be required to just upload the html file to the site. Thus, there is a check whether you are the owner of the resource. By the way, I noticed that Google and Mail sometimes check for the presence of a confirmation page and if you deleted it, they may ask you to confirm the rights again.

How to upload a file to VDS?

If you have vds, then the boot process is slightly different there. In this case, I see 2 reasonable options:

First way. On a virtual server, you may or may not have a control panel too. Usually, its additions can be ordered separately, or when choosing a server operating system, choose the option with a built-in panel. On my hoster, this is ISP Manager - a very convenient panel. With some providers, you can connect it for free, with others - for a fee.

Accordingly, almost everything here is the same as in the File Manager on cPanel, exactly the same buttons and features.

The second way. Again you will need a program to work with ftp, only this time we need a way to connect Secure Shell (the same SSH). To connect in this way, just change the port number to 22. I already wrote about all the other input fields earlier.

First, I advise you to create a new folder in the root directory for this, specifically for files. You can call it files, archive, filestorage. Well, it doesn't matter, the name can be anything, I just offer such that it is immediately clear what is in the folder.

So, we go into this empty folder and load the necessary document here. Now on the page of the site where you want to give the opportunity to download it, you just need to make a link to it. This is done in code like this:

In order to use the program, you need to download the appropriate version from the developer's website, install it on your system and run it. The first window will prompt you to select the interface language. Among all the options there is also Russian.

The interface of the program is simple and you will not get confused in it. In the first window, you must specify the name and category of the project, as well as indicate the location where the downloaded site will be stored.

Now you need to enter the address of the site that you want to download. The program has a large number of settings, where the depth of viewing the site is set, filters are defined that indicate what should be downloaded and what should not. For example, you can block the download of images, executable files, etc. There are many settings, and if necessary, you can carefully read them.

The wizard will ask you to answer several questions, for example, enter the username and password of the user on the downloaded site, specify the destination folder, and allow you to change some settings, for example, disable the ability to download images. Each of the options has its own advantages and disadvantages. Unfortunately, most programs are paid, and whether you are ready to fork out for more functionality or enough of what free utilities can do is up to everyone to decide for themselves.
