I have already written many times that many B-brands have reached a dead end, producing technically identical devices that look similar to each other. It doesn't matter that the smartphone does not differ from other similar ones, the main thing is that there are many body colors: here you have a pink cover, and white, and blue, and the most "colorful" one - black :). In general, let's get acquainted with the device, because there will surely be admirers of this brand.

Design, dimensions, controls

Appearance Alcatel POP C7 is typical for most inexpensive smartphones on Android: rectangular shape with sloping edges, featureless front and rear panel, plastic and ... plastic again. My impression of the C7 was spoiled a little by the fact that the review had a black gadget. I understand that this is a type of "unisex", that is, for both "boys" and "girls", but over the past few years, black plastic with soft-touch coating has already bored me personally. Manufacturers, please come up with something new at last!

Alcatel's dimensions are relatively compact for a smart with a five-inch screen diagonal - 141 x 71.8 x 9.9 mm, although the body is still thick. The "miracle" of technology weighs 162 grams, but in the hand it is felt at all 200. I do not know what increases the weight there: the battery is ordinary, the case is plastic, the screen is a thin glass. However, the smartphone lies well in the hand thanks to the rounded corners, smoothed sides, non-slip surface.




The screen is easily soiled, but fingerprints are removed quickly and easily. On the back side, traces are almost invisible. The display is protected by glass, so after several weeks of use, not a single scratch has appeared on it.

The body is made quite well. I did not notice any creaks or backlashes. The back cover does not bend to the battery, does not crunch when squeezed.

On the front panel, at the top left, there is an indicator of missed events. It blinks or is white. To the right of it is a speech speaker. Its volume is high, low and medium frequencies are heard, the timbre is not the most pleasant - dull, but also does not cause irritation, the interlocutor is heard relatively clearly and legibly, you are also heard well.
