Let's look at supported frequencies, iPhone models and other nuances, since September 19 the start of sales is indicated in just a few states, including: the USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Singapore, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong.

Beeline and Megafon have support for LTE networks 7 (2600 MHz) and 20 (800 DD). Megafon successfully registers devices in its network that are capable of catching the same bands. Here, Apple introduced the world to the new iPhone 6 models! The phones will be available starting September 19 in the US, Canada, England, Germany and select Asian countries. It's no secret that despite the simplicity of managing the phone, it remains a high-tech gadget with serious characteristics. Therefore, it is very important to buy an original iPhone 6, choose the right model, what is the difference between iPhone 6 models. If you choose the wrong model, then, alas, some features of the phone may not be available, such as high-speed Internet LTE (4G).
At the moment, Apple offers the buyer two models of the iPhone 6 (iPhone 6 Plus) - A1549 and A1586. On the surface, they are the same, but technically there are some differences between them. We are especially interested in iPhone 6 support for LTE networks from Russian operators (Megafon, MTS, Beeline).

Do not forget that all device modifications will work in Russia, Europe and other countries with any SIM card only if they have not been blocked under the operator (FreeSIM or NeverLock). Usually blocked devices can be identified at an ultra-low price - their cost is from $10 to $200.
Conclusion:
Theoretically, the A1586 model is better, as it supports 20 frequencies, instead of 16 in the A1549 model, that is, this model is more versatile in terms of LTE. In practice, few people will notice any differences, both models will work in the LTE networks of our operators, so you can safely take the cheaper version of the A1549.
Interestingly, the main differences between these two models lie in the design and appearance. All other characteristics of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are almost identical.

In general, even the design of the two models is a bit similar. The noticeable difference is only in size - the screen diagonal of the iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches, while the Plus version has 5.5 inches. Accordingly, the overall dimensions will be different.
But if you look closely, it becomes noticeable that outwardly Plus just repeats the design of 6, with some changes. For example, different colors of the upper blocks with a camera and backlight.
