Introduction

Vision is one of the most important human organs. Therefore, it is natural that visual images have a very strong influence on us.

After all, it is not for nothing that at all times, all generations of people have always used some kind of paintings, drawings, calling them differently, but the essence is the same. All these were and are - visual images or, as they are called in the churches, "images".

Naturally, we also use the appropriate images to achieve the goals we need: rest, calm down, relax, and so on.

On this page of the site I will show you some visual objects that we use to enhance the effect of crystals and music. I think it's understandable why they are all related to nature. We miss her so much!

* Prim. Here I placed thumbnails of images, and wrote about the required sizes of the originals at the end of the page. About the size, and something else.

The sound of the water has always fascinated with its power and stately tranquility.

Under this beautiful, unusual visual image it is good to dream, or think about anything, about something of your own ... ... ....

The rustle of foliage, the singing of birds, the chatter of grasshoppers and the buzzing of bees. Butterflies fly. Calm, in a word.

Forest and water

Surely, many of you have been and know well what forest ponds are. Small, like this one, or already a whole forest lake, which I placed a little lower.

Lake

And this is already a large, beautiful lake, and its tranquility and grandeur helps us to become the same. Forget minor troubles, immerse yourself in contemplation of its beauty.

Sea

You can talk about the sea endlessly. The sea is always different, as in these four pictures that you will see here.

Flowers

About flowers, like about the sea, you can write endlessly ... ... .... They are also all different, and each flower has its own "mood", which it can convey to us.

I hope you liked the shown graphic images, and now you know what you can pick up on the Internet to enhance the effect of music and crystals. Choose the one that matches the mood and the sounding melody.

It is advisable to take only sizes not very small... But read about it below.

Sizes of visual images

The size of the image depends on how, on what device you will watch it. I think it is clear that smartphones will not be able to give really anything because of their rather small size.

The minimum screen size that we use is 7 inches... Moreover (!), This is only when the stone is being programmed.
And for normal viewing of the visual image, a TV with a diagonal is used 26 inch... However, now this is not a problem at all, and many people have TVs even with much higher resolution.

You just need to choose the right size on the Internet (and within the meaning!) drawings or photographs to be full screen TV or monitor.

In the psychology of art, quite a few elements have been developed that make up a pleasant visual image. In addition to the actual color great importance have brightness, contrast, surface structure, outlines, shape, composition, movement and much more (Arnheim, 1974).

Since our training is not about subtle training of the ability to enjoy life images, we limited ourselves to focusing on pleasant colors, pleasant color combinations and the ability to perceive the characteristics of the surface of objects. There are no special reasons for such a choice, the trainer can freely choose other aspects of visual images for training.

Exercise 20. NICE COLOR

Exercise 21. COLOR COMBINATION

Exercise 22. SHAPE AND SHAPE COMBINATION

Pleasant sounds

The first thing that comes to the mind of the band members when this topic is announced is music, singing, and so on. Without denying the pleasures that musical culture creates, in this section of the training we still concentrate on the sounds that we hear in everyday life.

Exercise 23 WARM UP: RHYTHM MATCHING

Exercise 24. PLEASANT SOUNDS

Interim discussion

At the end of this section of the training, we usually conduct an interim summary, which should integrate the experience gained into group reality. Therefore, the questions of this intermediate discussion are focused not only on the acquired experience, but also on the dynamic characteristics of interaction in the group.

Exercise 25. NEW AND PLEASANT

The task of the next stage of the training is to combine pleasant sensations of different modality into a single image and learn to enjoy the whole image, first in a static state, then in the process of change. To enjoy the action with a pleasant object is the main task of this stage of the training.

Exercise 26. GOLDEN FISH

Niches of pleasure

The niches of pleasure in our program mean the space in which euthymic experiences and actions are possible (Lutz, 1996, p. 117). The presence of such niches in the social space of each individual person significantly helps to achieve a sense of the fullness of existence and provides an opportunity to enjoy life.

Most often, hedonistic niches coincide with a person's private space, a space in which there is an opportunity to satisfy the most important biological and social needs.

There are spatial and spiritual niches of pleasure. Spatial niches of pleasure mean a spatial environment in which a person feels good and is in a good mood. Usually people create space niches for themselves in accordance with their own ideas, sometimes they use spaces created by someone else's hands. It should also be borne in mind that there is also an inverse influence of the spatial niches of pleasure on the person who is in them. His mood and well-being improves.

The formation of spatial niches of pleasure is influenced by both psychological and economic factors, and often the latter plays a decisive role.

The spiritual niche of pleasure arises when a person concentrates on certain thoughts, images or activities. Usually, with this concentration, feelings of calmness, relaxation, pleasure and joy arise. The space of spiritual niches of pleasure extends from intellectual games, entertainment and meditation to solving complex intellectual problems, hobbies and scientific discussions.

In the existence of both spatial and spiritual niches of pleasure, close people play a significant role, thanks to social support or simply the presence of which the pleasure of having niches becomes the basis of well-being and health. With these people, we get even better in these niches, and we can allow ourselves to be completely open and happy.

Pleasure niches have several essential features.

    1. Hedonistic niches become such if a person possesses them by right and with full right.

    2. A person has the ability to completely control his niche. It is he and the people close to him who decide what and how will happen in this niche.

    3. The potential of a hedonistic niche grows if games take place in its space. The game reduces a person's dependence on the external characteristics of the niche. Just one ball and a small area can be enough to give a lot of pleasure to a bunch of people.

Exercise 27 DREAM ISLAND

Exercise 28. NICHES OF PLEASURE

Role play 1. INVITATION TO PLEASURE

Most of the information about the world around us we get through sight. Visual images entering the brain provide us with information about the subject, object, landscape that we see.

Understanding the essence of visual images helps to correctly edit the film.

When examining an object, it is reflected in our consciousness not entirely, but in separate fragments.

Psychologists say that memory also stores information about an object as fragments with spaces between them. Our brain saves time for collecting information and storage space, and retains only characteristic features (signs of images) in memory.

This is enough for the work of our consciousness, perception, imagination. We can guess the object itself from the part of the object. Moreover, it may not be a photographic, but a schematic image.

Looking at such a picture, we can easily determine that this is a cat, and not some other animal (object). Despite the fact that we have only a few sketchy lines, they bear the characteristic features of a cat, and our brain instantly recognizes them.

The human brain compares lines, contours, shapes, due to which a sign of an image is formed, which leads to recognition. We can say that the activity of the brain is a kind of montage.

Complex images are formed from simple images, and a more complex process of understanding is triggered in our minds.

If we are shown images of individual houses placed side by side, our consciousness will assemble a more complex image of the street. We are dealing with editing again.

Scientists have found that the number of images and their features stored in a person's memory is thousands of times greater than the number of thoughts, words, expressions, etc.

Not only that, we can distinguish a person from many other people in figure, gait, which means that these additional features characteristic of this object are also fixed in our memory.

By gesturing, we can determine the intentions and mood of people. For example, when we see two people waving their hands, we will immediately understand whether they are fighting or just talking animatedly.

Our memory stores countless numbers of not only static images, but also plastic modes of action that blend naturally with each other. Thus, we can easily recognize images, actions, places, situations.

Thanks to the use of this huge variety of static images and plastic images of action from our memory, the silent cinema of the beginning of the last century became Great, understandable for people different countries and cultures.

Silent film directors had the art of constructing their narratives with these plastic images.

Thus, when editing a film, not real objects (people, houses, cars, trees) are captured in the frame, but their display created by technical means... Each frame is created by editing from plastic images.

Hence it follows: both the material of human thinking and the material of any screen creativity are plastic images.

Any film, professional or amateur - these are images fixed in a certain order and combination.

The results, of course, can vary greatly in the degree of expressiveness and the strength of the impact on the viewer. Some are bright and expressive, others are primitive and nondescript. That is why cinema is art.

Editing is a method of human thinking, part of the nature of the functioning of consciousness, which is used by filmmakers.

Throughout the history of film and television, practitioners and theorists have asked the question: Is the division of a film into frames justified?

Pay attention to how the process of human perception of the environment occurs.

For example, let's follow the eyes of a person looking at an image. The eyes are in constant chaotic movement, the gaze jumps from one direction to another.

Try to consciously control yourself in this situation. You will find that your gaze stops for short periods of time at certain details of the picture, while your peripheral vision holds the general field of view.

Even such a superficial analysis of the perception of an object will give you the opportunity to conclude that your vision, as it were, snatches out clearly seen pieces of the observed. Your consciousness gathers these pieces into a single picture.

The viewing process is discrete(intermittent). The evidence for this is clear.

First, at the moment of shifting the gaze for a split second, sharpness is lost, since the muscles of the eyes need time to change the focus of the lens.

Secondly, we periodically blink, i.e. close our eyes. Naturally, at this moment the flow of information is interrupted, although we do not notice this at all. At the moment of shifting our gaze from a distant object to a nearby one, we will involuntarily blink.

We do this all the time, but do not pay attention to it, for us this principle of vision is natural.

Those fragments of the picture that we grabbed with a glance are just the signs of the image of the picture that is created in our mind. Our consciousness is engaged in editing: it composes (assembles) a holistic image from individual features.

Scientists argue that any process of information flow into our consciousness has a discrete (intermittent) nature. Chipping is literally necessary for the normal course of perception.

When instead of editing a film in short shots, intra-frame editing with long shots began to be used, our mind and brain began to themselves, regardless of the director, divide into pieces the stream of images continuously coming from the screen.

Chunking and juxtaposing is an integral part of the human nature of perception and thinking.

Accordingly, the editing of films in short frames (one of the basic rules of video editing) is a rule based on the use of features and properties of human nature.
