A1 company provides mobile communication services of GSM 900/1800, UMTS 900/2100 (WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+) and 4G (LTE, in the network of the infrastructure operator beСloud) in Belarus. Also, A1 is one of the largest private operator of fixed Internet access in Belarus, providing subscribers with high-speed Internet access based on its own fiber optic network using Ethernet and GPON technologies. The data center is designed for 800 server racks and has its own optical ring - 43 kilometers of network with a bandwidth of 1 Tbps. The A1 data center has an international Uptime Institute (UI) certificate for Tier III fault tolerance in the Design and Facility categories, a PCI DSS certificate confirming the security of customer infrastructure and protection of payment card data, as well as an ISO 27001 information security certificate, confirmed by one of the most authoritative standardization organizations British Standards Institution (BSI).

A1 provides a video service under the VOKA brand. The service is available using IPTV technologies in the A1 and OTT networks through the network of any operator in Belarus.

In 2018, the VOKA service began to receive its own media content: sections “Our Football” and “Our Hockey” with broadcasts of matches with the participation of Belarusian clubs and teams, live broadcasts of concerts, music festivals, conferences and forums, as well as broadcasts of cybersport tournaments in esports section. In the VOKA SHOW section, reviews, mini-reality and TV shows created exclusively for the platform are available. In addition, one of the key areas in the work of VOKA is the creation of Belarusian-language content.

In 2019, the country's largest library of content in Ultra High-Definition (4K) appeared in the VOKA video service, and is also implementing large-scale social educational projects.

Each operator provides the ability to manage the number thanks to USSD requests. These are commands, by entering which the user can find out the tariff plan, mobile number, balance, and so on.

To find out the current Velcom tariff:

  1. Open the keyboard on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Dial a simple combination *141*2*1# .
  3. Click the Call button.

An SMS message will be sent to your number, which will contain the name of the tariff plan and phone number.

Call to short number

Some people are better at assimilating the information they hear. For such, the operator offers a voice service. To use it, you need to dial the short number 411 and press the Call button. The robot will answer you. Navigation through the sections of the service is carried out by buttons. You just need to listen to what the automatic system says and press the desired number. If something is not clear, right there you can contact the operator and ask him a question of interest.

Another way to find out the tariff plan is to use your personal account. This method works both from the phone and from the computer. All you need is internet. The method itself does not require much time. If you have not registered with the LC, you will have to do this.

Knowing the name of the tariff plan, you can easily find out the conditions for its operation. This is done through the official website of the operator:

  2. In the top menu, select the "Tariffs" section.
  3. In the presented list, find your tariff plan, and study its conditions.

Personal Area is a self-service system that allows the company's subscribers to receive information about their personal account, tariff plan and manage their services. Clients have the ability to grant authorized subscribers special rights to manage the services of other subscribers of the client. Assignment to subscribers of the access rights "Administrator of the Personal Account" (hereinafter - the administrator) and "Supervisor of the Personal Account" (hereinafter - the supervisor) is made at the request of the client. Assigning an administrator to subscribers is available only for corporate clients.

Actions performed by the subscriber/administrator/supervisor in the Personal Account are equated to actions performed by the client in accordance with and on the terms of the agreement.

1. Access to the Personal Account is provided automatically to all subscribers of the company.

  • USSD *141*0#;
  • PUK1 SIM-cards - for subscribers of Video Surveillance, Satellite Monitoring, Internet tariff plans (as an additional option, if the mobile device does not support USSD), for subscribers of other tariff plans who have activated this option in sales centers A1.

The password is valid until changed by the user.

3. To use the Personal Account, the subscriber needs to enter the phone number and password on the page https://my.a1.by/.

4. When working in the Personal Account, the following must be taken into account:

  • changes in the list of selected services take effect within 24 hours;
  • information about the state of the balance and the rest of the traffic is updated as the system receives data on the communication services consumed by the subscriber and payments made. When using the "International roaming" service, the calculation of the cost of consumed communication services is carried out upon receipt of the relevant information from roaming partners;
  • in the process of executing applications, funds are debited from the balance for the services provided in accordance with the current tariffs of the company;
  • subscribers served on a prepaid basis, the opportunity to connect additional services is provided if there is an amount of money on the balance sheet sufficient to pay for the cost of the connected service;
  • applications for connection/disconnection of services may be rejected if the service of the subscriber/client is suspended at the initiative of the subscriber/client or the company;
  • access to call details is provided after additional authentication;
  • in case of repeated changes in the invoice delivery address within a month, a regular invoice will be sent by the company to the last address indicated in the reporting period.

5. The time of inactivity in the system is 15 minutes, after this time the session will be terminated. All applications generated, but not completed at the time of termination of the session in the Personal Account, will be canceled. The subscriber is given the opportunity to initiate a new session.

6. Subscribers can independently manage access to the Personal Account (open / close access) using USSD *141*3*6#. To open access, you must specify the PUK1 code of the SIM card used.

7. Access to the Personal Account of subscribers / administrators / supervisors of a legal entity may be closed at the request of the organization. Administrators/supervisors can manage access to the Personal Account of the client's subscribers.

8. The Subscriber is fully responsible for the safety of the password. If the password is disclosed, the subscriber must change the password.

9. In case of loss of the SIM-card, the subscriber must contact the company's information service at 411 or A1 sales centers to disable the Personal Account.

10. The Company has the right to restrict the subscriber's/administrator's/supervisor's access to the Personal Account if there are grounds to believe that the subscriber/administrator/supervisor is committing an offense that causes damage to the company or third parties.

11. The Company has the right to introduce new services, change the nature and method of providing services that can be connected or disconnected by the subscriber through the Personal Account. Information about the changes is posted on the official website www.a1.by.

13. In everything else not regulated by this Procedure, the client and the company are guided by the provisions of the contract.
