Recovery mode is a special boot mode for android devices that allows you to do a full factory reset operating system, reflash the device, make a backup copy of the entire system or its individual partitions (just like restoring these partitions later) and some other things. At the same time, for this mode to work, the operability of the operating system itself is completely optional. That is why the recovery menu is often accessed when the device no longer works in normal mode. And that is why this mode is called “recovery”.

How to enter Recovery: instructions

Lenovo

Now for other ways to launch the recovery menu. This will suit you only if you have superuser rights () and you do not want to turn off your smartphone every time.
