Meizu u10 16gb black review. Meizu U10 review: small and made of glass. Hardware platform and reviews

The Chinese company Meizu has released a lot of pretty good smartphones. Users are mostly positive about them. Of course, there are some disadvantages, but they are fully paid off by the low cost. In 2016, a new model was released under this brand - Meizu U10. We will consider reviews about it a little later. Her debut did not go unnoticed. The main advantage of this line of gadgets is its modern attractive design. The manufacturer prefers to select high-quality materials for the case, which, undoubtedly, is in consumer demand. Naturally, cost plays an important role. The novelty went on sale in two modifications. The variant with two gigabytes of "RAM" and sixteen native memory is estimated at approximately $ 150. The older modification (3/32 GB) will be more expensive by $ 17-20. What opportunities will open to the owners of this model? Aren't users disappointed in another new product made in China? The answers to these questions can be found in this review.

Appearance

Immediately, we note that there are a lot of positive reviews Meizu smartphone U10 32Gb - Gold, Silver, Black - received thanks to its modern design. Exactly external design gadgets is a kind of "trick" of the manufacturer. According to the majority of users, this model was able to reach a new level. The body is made of metal that blends harmoniously with the glass. A chrome-plated bezel runs along the perimeter. It gives the smartphone a special appeal and elegance.

It is worth highlighting that not only the front panel is decorated with 2.5D glass with rounded edges, but also back cover... Properties of this material quite meet the high requirements. In their comments, buyers draw attention to the fact that even with insufficiently careful interaction with the phone, scratches on the surface are not formed. An indisputable plus is that the manufacturer used an oleophobic coating. Thanks to him, the finger easily glides over the surface, the prints from it remain, but in small quantities, while they are easily erased.

The frame itself, which runs along the perimeter, is not rounded, but rectangular. On this issue, users could not come to a consensus, since some consider this solution quite acceptable, while others - outdated, preferring the rounded side end. But it is not all that bad. In order for the design to look quite strong, the manufacturer slightly complicated the shape of this frame, giving it embossed beveled edges. Thanks to this solution, it turned out to emphasize the peculiarity of the material used.

Choosing a smartphone color scheme for every person will not be a problem. There are several options in the line. For example, for men who prefer classics, the Meizu U10 16Gb Black smartphone is ideal. Reviews about this instance prove that it looks quite impressive and stylish. Of course, some disadvantages are still visible. It is about the accumulation of greasy stains on the surface. Unfortunately, it does not completely protect against them. The only solution to this problem is to constantly wipe the surface. But such an unpleasant moment concerns only the black version. On phones with a light body, these spots are almost invisible, so many people prefer to purchase the Meizu U10 16Gb Silver. Reviews on this topic are often found on the forums. Users have come to an unambiguous opinion: if the color is not fundamental to the buyer, then it is better to choose a model with a light body, since greasy spots and fingerprints are practically invisible on it.

What can you say about the dimensions of this device? In principle, they are quite expected, as for a smartphone with a 5-inch screen. Its mass is small - only 139 g. The thickness is also praised. This phone may well be called narrow. According to most users, the developers have chosen the optimal thickness indicator, which is 7.9 mm. Other dimensions did not cause any comments. The height of 141.9 mm is in harmony with the width of 69.6 mm.

As you can see from the above, users do not have a pronounced negative about the design. Of course, there are some unpleasant moments (fingerprints remain in the black copy), but they are not quite critical for everyone.

Controls and connectors

Let's look at the location of the controls using the example of Meizu U10 16GB Black. Reviews of connoisseurs of this brand confirm that they are all brought to their usual place. The only difference is the audio jack. For some reason, the developers brought it not to the upper end, as many are already used to, but to the lower one. It is, of course, difficult to judge the convenience of this location. But you can get used to it easily.

So let's take a look at what's on the side faces. On the left side of the case, the manufacturer has installed a SIM card tray. It can also be used to install external micro-SD drives. The opposite side face is occupied by the extended volume button and the power key. The latter performs the function of blocking the device.

The bottom end is multifunctional. Here there was a place to bring out the main speaker. It consists of 4 small round holes. In the center of the end there is a USB port that supports the OTG format. As mentioned above, on the right side is the audio jack and microphone hole.

A lot of comments about this smartphone model are addressed to the control panel. The manufacturer decided to completely abandon the touch-sensitive navigation buttons, replacing them with one universal mTouch 2.1. It is multifunctional, mechanical and sensory at the same time. Designed to control the gadget - navigation in the operating system interface. The developers also built a fingerprint scanner into it. Up to 5 prints are stored in its memory. The recognition angle is 360 degrees. It works, although not very fast, but users have no comments on the speed and accuracy of the response.

Hardware platform and reviews

Having discovered a MediaTek processor on a new product in 2016, users were not surprised. These chipsets are often used in gadgets of this level. That is why a certain opinion about their capabilities has long been formed. Of course, they can hardly compete with the original devices from Apple, but they are also capable of showing good results.

This model is based on a processor based on 8 computational modules. The type of each of them is Cortex-A53. They function according to the 4 × 4 system. The first half is capable of delivering a maximum frequency of up to 1500 MHz, while the second is limited to 1000 MHz.

In order for the device to work with graphic images, a video card is installed in tandem with the main processor. In this model, the choice fell on the Mali-T860 accelerator. It is worth noting that he copes with all the tasks quite well.

Now let's look at what reviews this gadget received in terms of performance. In the comments, users say that in practice, the phone copes with all daily tasks. Of course, there are situations when the device freezes a little, but this is only if the owners set several actions at once at the same time. This cannot be considered a critical drawback, since in this price category such results are shown by all devices without exception. Players will be happy with the U10. It is capable of opening even "heavy" 3D games. The only thing that you may have to sacrifice is the maximum level of graphics. Also, users noticed that even with a prolonged heavy load, the case does not heat up very much.

Memory

What modifications did the manufacturer present to the buyers? There are two versions in total in the line. They differ from each other in the amount of RAM and built-in memory. First, consider the Meizu U10 16GB Gold. Reviews of this modification vary somewhat. There are several reasons for this. The first thing to notice is the volume random access memory is only 2 gigabytes. In the comments, people say that in fact no more than half will be available. Also, the amount of built-in memory is not very large, it is only 16 GB. For a modern user who prefers to make the most of a smartphone, such volumes will not be enough. If you shoot a lot of videos, take photos, install various software, then you will have to use external storage, since the manufacturer has provided support for memory cards up to 128 GB.

However, in this case, users should be aware that they will have to sacrifice one SIM card, since the developers have combined their slots in one tray. It is for this reason that many people recommend Meizu U10 32Gb in reviews. According to most, this model is optimal for multitasking. First of all, it has 3 GB of "RAM". Naturally, this figure is much better than in the previous modification. This is especially noticeable during games. Accordingly, the size of the integrated memory in this version is 32 GB. Advanced users are advised to purchase just such a modification, because its advantages are obvious.

Autonomy

According to the criterion of autonomy, Meizu U10 32Gb receives not the best reviews. The fact is that this model bears a striking resemblance to the hardware of the M3s device. However, for some reason, the manufacturer reduced the battery capacity by almost 300 milliamps per hour. It was this decision that caused the most indignation of the owners. Buyers are already accustomed to the fact that new items come out with higher rates, so reducing the battery life to 2760 mAh was definitely a disappointment. The only explanation that advanced users could give is that the developers tried to reduce the thickness of the phone.

What results does this gadget show? The owners assure that with an average load, you can safely count on 24 hours of operation. The only thing that will have to be completely abandoned for such a period of work is to lower the brightness level, not to play, and also not to activate the network modules. If you use one of the above, then the life of the gadget will be significantly reduced. The advantages include the presence energy saving modes.

about cameras

It has become a common thing that manufacturers in modern smartphones use two cameras. In most cases, a high-resolution module is selected for the main one, which is located on the back side. This model was no exception. The optics are based on a 13 megapixel matrix. It consists of 5 wide-angle lenses. Supplemented with phase detection autofocus, which works quickly and efficiently. There is also a two-stage flash.

The camera application is concise and simple interface... In it, manufacturers have implemented a large number of possibilities. Among the settings, you can find modes for creating panoramas, portraits, macro photography and more. It also allows you to adjust the white balance, change the exposure value, use the built-in QR scanner and much more.

Meizu recently unveiled a new U series of smartphones that stands out for its stylish design. the site has already met a large representative of the line, and now it has reached the more compact Meizu U10.

Specifications

  • screen: IPS, 5 inches, resolution 1280 × 720 pixels, 2.5D protective glass

  • fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, light sensor, proximity sensor
  • dimensions: 141.9 x 69.6 x 8.0 mm, weight: 139 g
  • OS: Android 6.0, Flyme 5.1

Appearance

The novelty is practically no different from the Meizu U20: glass in front and behind, a similar arrangement of all elements, except that the screen (and dimensions in general) is smaller. Both smartphones are similar in design not only to each other, but to the iPhone 4 / 4s, and the latter is more similar to the Meizu U10 due to its size.

The site took the white version of the Chinese glass smartphone to look at how different the models of the two available colors are.

After a long comparison, we can say that the white version looks less impressive, but it is much more practical due to the fact that it is much more difficult to see fat marks and fingerprints on the case.

The white version of the smartphone also received a lighter metal frame - in color it is as close as possible to unpainted aluminum.

Comprehensively, the device looks thoughtful and stylish, and the white color of the case captivates with its practicality - the black modification collects fingerprints so quickly that a more spectacular appearance remains for 5 minutes at most, after which the smartphone must be actively rubbed with a cloth. The white modification looks good even after two days without any surface maintenance.

The convenience of use

Bluetooth and GPS did not cause any problems, and Wi-Fi works almost well - in certain configurations of a particular router, Meizu U10 refused to connect to a network with WPA2-PSK protection, although it worked without problems with other network equipment and exactly the same settings. We recommend that you check in the first days after purchase how the device contacts your home and work access points, so as not to be upset in the future if something goes wrong.

The sound in the headphones does not stand out from the competition: maximum volume sufficient, but high-quality bass or clear highs are not observed here. You can listen to music, but do not expect that the smartphone can compete with a decent player. The same can be said about the external dynamics - it is just as normal as that of the competitors, in terms of both decent volume and mediocre quality.

Competitors

Which practically matches the filling of a glass state employee with its density, it works longer, and also attracts with metal in the case and a rounded shape. But the camera of Meizu U10 showed itself a little better, and outwardly the smartphone is much more attractive. The main advantage of Meizu m3s is its lower cost - only UAH 3199 versus UAH 3599.

The Meizu U10 loses only in appearance and the camera, all other technical points are slightly better in Xiaomi: the performance is not higher, but the games are better optimized for Snapdragon, the autonomy is higher. Practical users are better off taking Redmi 3s, especially since its cost is UAH 3199, but if style decides, then Meizu U10 will be the right choice.

conclusions

Meizu U10 is an unremarkable inexpensive Chinese smartphone when we talk about its stuffing. It performs well in comparison with competitors, but it can be called an outstanding representative of the class only on one criterion - design.

The appearance of the device attracts attention, it is not flashy or bright, but rather stylish. Such a gadget looks good when paired with an evening dress, and in conjunction with a casual outfit. At the same time, the dimensions of the device do not cause discomfort during use, despite the prevalence of sharp corners and rough transitions at the joints of materials.

A nice device belongs to fashion devices with all the consequences: it is impractical, there are no breakthrough technologies or advanced components, there was no room for various additional usefulness either. But it is really nice and comfortable. If these characteristics are important to you, Meizu U10 should definitely be considered for purchase.

3 reasons to buy Meizu U10:

  • pleasant appearance
  • dimensions convenient for everyday use
  • high speed of work of most applications and shells

2 reasons not to buy Meizu U10:

  • mediocre work of radio modules
  • glass is an impractical material that scratches quickly

Outwardly, the smartphone looks faceless - it does not stand out in any way against the background of its fellows.

Once again, we have a gadget with a typical budget design, 2.5D glass on the front and rear panels and a single navigation key. Such a combination of elements is common, you will not surprise anyone. For example, you have already seen a similar design, and the dimensions of both smartphones are similar. However, the smartphone from Meizu compares favorably with the metal frame of the case, because of which it is much more pleasant to hold it in your hand.

The dimensions of the Meizu U10 are 141.9 × 69.6 × 8.0 mm, and the weight is 138 grams. The build quality is not satisfactory - all the parts are tightly fitted, nothing plays or creaks. Unfortunately, this is where the advantages of the case end. According to the manufacturer, the front and rear glass of the smartphone is laminated to new technology GFF. On the one hand, it contributes to better protection, but on the other hand, the glass turned out to be glossy and easily get dirty. Fingerprints are perfectly visible on its surface.

The upper part of the front panel is occupied by the front camera, earpiece and light sensor. Below the display is the only navigation button with a built-in fingerprint sensor. At the top of the rear panel is a camera with LED flash.

On the left side of the case there is a compartment for nanoSIM and microSIM, combined with a slot for microSD. On the right side are the volume keys and the power button.

The bottom edge houses a mini-jack, a microphone, a microUSB port and slots for a music speaker.

You can buy Meizu U10 in four colors: black (Black), white (White), gold (Shampane gold) and pink (Pink).

Screen - 3.9

The situation when a manufacturer installs a fairly high-quality screen in a budget device is not uncommon. We have already seen this, for example, in the Meizu M5 and. The Meizu U10 also has a decent display, but it has some drawbacks.

The screen resolution of the device is 1280 × 720 pixels at a density of 294 ppi. This is not the worst indicator for a 5-inch diagonal - individual pixels are practically invisible only if you look closely at the display. Auto brightness works well with no jumps. The manufacturer claims a maximum brightness of 380 nits, but our measurements showed less - 340 nits. Not the highest value, for example, the recently presented maximum brightness is 400 nits. The display will fade in direct sunlight and the glossy surface protective glass strikes glare. Because of this, it is almost impossible to see the image on the screen. The minimum screen brightness is only 2 nits, which is very comfortable for use in the dark.

The color gamut of the screen is 91% of sRGB, the color reproduction is quite accurate. But the viewing angles, unfortunately, let us down. When looking at the screen from a wide angle, the image loses its brightness and contrast, although the colors remain almost unchanged. Whether this is considered a serious drawback is up to you. In our opinion, this is forgivable for a budget device.

In the settings, you can set your own color temperature, the options are "cold", "warm" and the average value used by default. The screen also has a night mode. It dims blue tones, thus reducing eye strain when using the gadget in the dark.

Cameras - 2.3

The smartphone is equipped with good 13 and 5 MP cameras. For a budget device, the shooting quality is not bad, but there are some drawbacks.

The main camera has an aperture of f / 2.2, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. Let's start with its flaws. Auto White Balance can be erroneous, resulting in dark photos and often lacking detail. In macro mode, focus can take a long time to adjust to the subject and, as a result, catch something completely different from what you wanted. However, in daylight conditions, the image quality can be called good, especially in HDR mode. With a lack of lighting, the image loses its sharpness, and strong noise appears. In manual mode, you can adjust the ISO value between 100 and 1600, as well as shutter speed, exposure compensation, white balance and contrast.

The front camera is good for selfies, but it is also light sensitive. The detailing of the images is quite good, but the color rendition may seem pale to some.

Both cameras record video with a maximum video resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD).

Working with text - 5.0

Out of the box, the Meizu U10 comes preinstalled with two keyboards: system and TouchPal.

In our opinion, TouchPal is pretty handy. It supports continuous input and can load additional languages. There are many settings: themes, changing the size of the input area, working with the clipboard and voice input... There are separate keys for smileys and additional symbols.

The system keyboard is much simpler. It does not support continuous input, and its settings are limited to setting the language and theme. There are only two of the latter - dark and light.

Internet - 4.0

The smartphone comes with its own browser. It copes well with its tasks - it loads pages quite quickly, knows how to disable the loading of images. One of its interesting features is night mode. When activated, the contrast of the text changes - instead of the usual dark text on a light background, we get light text on a dark background. This reduces eye strain, although not everyone likes this contrast. In general, the display of site pages is correct, the scaling is smooth.

Communications - 3.8

The set of communications and sensors Meizu U10 is typical for a modern budget smartphone. One can only complain about the lack of FM radio.

The set of communications is as follows:

  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Dual band
  • Bluetooth v4.0 LE, A2DP
  • GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS
  • USB 2.0, USB On-The-Go
  • accelerometer
  • gyroscope
  • digital compass.

Multimedia - 4.4

The volume of the music speaker is high. If the phone rings somewhere in a noisy place, such as on public transport, you will hear it. The earpiece is also loud enough - when telephone conversations the interlocutor's speech is audible clearly.

The sound in the headphones is not bad. It has a fairly flat response across all audible frequencies. However, the output power is very modest, and at least some serious ones are contraindicated for a smartphone - the sound in them will be quiet and inexpressive. There is a five-band equalizer for adjusting the sound "for yourself".

The video player supports a large number of video formats and a minimum of settings. You can only set the video to loop or scale the image.

Battery - 3.3

The autonomy of Meizu U10 cannot be called high, rather, slightly above average. The battery charge is enough for a full day of work under moderate load, but no more. Although for a 2760 mAh battery, this is not a bad result.

We tested the device for autonomy and got the following: a video at maximum brightness can be played for up to 6 hours without a break, listening to music at a comfortable volume in headphones will work up to 100 hours in a row, and in a talk mode from 100% to 0, the battery will run out in about 10 hours. The results look impressive, but they are far from the best. For comparison, autonomy Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 is significantly larger, although its battery capacity is smaller. Although, as a replacement, a smartphone is quite suitable.

With the included charger, the phone charges from 0 to 100% in about 2 hours. Unfortunately, fast charging is not supported.

Performance - 2.5

There is no need to talk about any high performance Meizu U10.

The smartphone is equipped with an eight-core Mediatek MT6750 processor with a maximum frequency of up to 1.5 GHz and a Mali-T860MP2 video accelerator. It would seem that with such a number of cores and 2 or 3 GB of RAM, a smartphone should cope well with any tasks. In fact, everything turned out to be very depressing. Under load, the processor quickly gets hot and throttles. This feature saves the processor from overheating by lowering the core frequency and skipping computation cycles. As a result, overall performance drops significantly and remains low until the processor cools down.

In synthetic tests, this problem manifested itself most clearly. The results of the Meizu U10 benchmarks are as follows:

  • Geekbench 4 - 1838 points (at 1964 points)
  • Antutu 6 - 36795 points ( Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro scores 62421 points in this test)
  • 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited - 7319 points (at 13849 points).

Memory - 4.0

You can buy Meizu U10 in two versions:

  • 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage
  • 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.

We tested the 16 GB version, of which 14 GB is available to the user. It is possible to install a microSD memory card instead of one of the SIMs - a typical solution for modern smartphones.

Peculiarities

The device runs Flyme OS - a redesigned version. From the usual Google android it is distinguished by a modified desktop, on which all application icons are located, as well as the ability to fine-tune the device for yourself. Another feature of the operating system is the functionality of mTouch 2.1, which allows you to control your smartphone using “swipes” across the screen and a single key. A short touch on the key means going backward, while pressing it simulates the "Home" button. To open the menu of running applications, you need to make a "swipe" from bottom to top at the bottom of the screen, and the same "swipe" at the top will show the search bar and icons of recently launched applications.

It is worth noting the fingerprint sensor built into the navigation key. He remembers up to five prints. It is stated that recognition occurs in 0.2 seconds and at any angle. However, after the tests we can say that although the reading speed corresponds to the one declared by the manufacturer, the sensor does not always work correctly. Some touches were not recognized the first time.

The affordable representative of the U line from the Chinese company Meizu looks sleek, stylish, and also much more expensive than it actually costs.

Hipster

The design of the smartphone clearly traces the features of the "style icon 2010" - Apple iPhone 4. True, Chinese engineers have gone further and in the wake of fashion trends 2016-2017. equipped the phone with a rounded 2.5D glass. And not only from the side of the screen, but also on the back of the gadget. Thanks to the glossy back, the smartphone deservedly received the title of "dudes".

Optimization

The hardware for the smartphone was borrowed from the popular Meizu M3s mini. Nevertheless, excellent software optimization allowed the U10 model to outperform the "donor" in synthetic tests - the glass gadget gets about 40 thousand points during performance testing by the AnTuTu application. In reality, the interface responds to all user actions smoothly and predictably, and the smartphone copes well with demanding games at medium graphics settings.

IPS matrix

The display of the model does not cause any complaints either in the quality of color reproduction or in the margin of brightness. The screen resolution is 1280x720 pixels, which, with a 5-inch diagonal, creates a pixel density of 294ppi - individual pixels can be seen only if you look specifically. Bottom of the display is traditionally located touch button mTouch with built-in fingerprint sensor that responds instantly to your fingertips.

Filming

In good lighting it is possible to get sharp pictures with good color reproduction using both cameras of the smartphone. As the quality of lighting deteriorates, noise appears in photographs. A number of manual settings for self-selection of exposure values, ISO and other shooting parameters.

Family U

The battery with a capacity of 2760 mAh is enough for a day autonomous work smartphone at medium loads. The older alternative to the model from the same line in the face of Meizu U20 has similar indicators of autonomy, even despite a more capacious battery. Its charge is "eaten" by a 5.5 "FullHD screen and a more powerful" filling "- the key differences between the two representatives of the U family.

In late summer 2016, the Chinese company Meizu introduced two new smartphones - U10 and U20. In general, they can be characterized as budget smartphones with pretty good hardware for this price range. Their main feature is an attractive and stylish design, with a metal and glass glossy body. This review is intended to sort through the characteristics of the U10 model, which is cheaper and slightly smaller than its counterpart.

A smartphone with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory in Russia costs about $ 150, with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory - $ 170.

The design of this smartphone is very different from many other models in the Meizu line - the company has taken a new height in this regard, making the gadget similar to the Meizu X. Front and rear panel the device is completely covered with a rounded 2.5D glass with a high-quality oleophobic coating. The metal frames are rectangular and have beveled edges.

The model is available in four colors: Black, White, Gold and Pink. Regardless of which color you choose (but in black, in our humble opinion, the smartphone is especially gorgeous), you will be pleased with the glossy mirror panel, but be prepared for the fact that after some time of use you will see numerous fingerprints and footprints.

Control elements are located in a standard way, except for the headphone jack: a tray for SIM and micro-SD memory cards - on the left side, on the right - an on / off button and a volume rocker. There is nothing on the top edge, and at the bottom there is a micro-USB connector, 3.5 mm audio output, main microphone and speaker.

There are no such familiar control buttons - instead, under the display there is a mechanical universal key used as a navigator in working with the device and as a fingerprint scanner. The scanner does not work very quickly, but in principle it is satisfactory.

Chipset

The device is equipped with an eight-core processor from MediaTek - 6750 with 2-cluster Cortex A53 cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.5 GHz. Graphics accelerator - Mali T860. In the AnTuTu benchmark, the device scores from 31,000 to 40,000 points (the indicator depends on the firmware version and the amount of RAM).

In real life, the gadget will cope well with everyday tasks - not bad at all for a smartphone of this price category. Almost any of the heavy 3D games will run, but we are not sure about whether at maximum settings. Under heavy loads and always on LTE, the U10 smartphone does not heat up.

Memory

The phone is sold in two variations - 2 GB / 16 GB and 3 GB / 32 GB. As for the RAM, the Meizu U10 32 gb smartphone will show slightly improved performance indicators in toys, plus there is free memory for performing several tasks.

If you need more internal memory and plan to use two SIM cards - take the Meizu U10 32 gb black - the review showed that it is better suited for this. But, in any case, you can put an additional memory card.

Battery

Compared to the Meizu M3s, the battery capacity has been reduced - in this model it is only 2760 mAh instead of 3020 mAh. We think that in this way the manufacturer sought to reduce the thickness of the device - it decreased by 0.4 mm.

With an average load, the battery charge will last for a day, and in order to extend the operating time to 24 hours, you will have to significantly save energy - reduce the display brightness, turn off LTE, do not play games, turn on the energy-saving mode.

Camera

The U10 smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with a 5-element lens with f / 2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and 2-tone flash. The interface of the standard camera application is quite simple, but many features are embedded in it - there are many shooting modes (portrait, panorama, macro and others), a QR code scanner and much more. In addition, there is the ability to manually adjust exposure, white balance, ISO, and more.

Photos taken in good daylight are very detailed, sharp and have excellent color reproduction with little or no distortion. Also you can create gifs and record FullHD video at 30fps. There is a slow motion function.

On front camera you can take high-quality selfies - it has a resolution of 5 megapixels and an aperture of f / 2.0. There are also many different filters here - even Instagram will envy.

Display

Meizu U10 has a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and a density of 296 ppi. The gadget produces a picture perfectly smooth, bright and beautiful, with the ability to adjust the color temperature. The brightness of the display at the maximum level is quite sufficient for comfortable work with the device even on a sunny day. The screen of the device, as mentioned above, is covered with durable 2.5D glass with stylish beveled edges.

Sound

The U10 has the simplest budget speaker - nothing special. To hear an alarm, notification or ringtone is enough. But in order to listen to music, you need a high-quality headset. Although we do not think that with sound in this device some problem - how many people do you know who listen to music through the speakers of their smartphone?

Operating system

Those smartphones that were released exclusively for the domestic device market in China came with an operating system called YunOS. In Russia, they are flashed with standard firmware for all Meizu - Flyme OS version 5.2.3.0 based on Android. Most often, the seller himself puts the international firmware before the smartphone hits the counter, but almost every more or less advanced Russian user can also reflash his gadget on his own.

Flaym shell mostly works stably, has its own original interface and many advanced settings. Moreover, this operating system regularly updated and refined.

Model advantages

  • Nice and stylish design;
  • The presence of a fingerprint scanner;
  • Excellent quality display;
  • Good software part;
  • It catches the network perfectly and receives any signal well, incl. LTE;
  • Attractive price;
  • An excellent camera with a wide range of functions.

Disadvantages of the model

  • Hybrid slot for SIM-cards and memory cards;
