In general, reinforcing emitters do better in the mid-high range, however, there are also low-frequency emitters, and paired, and even quad-blocks (4 emitters play as one). Thus, the armature today is a giant zoo of opportunities for the manufacturer and an amusement park for you friends. If you really think that the armature "cannot in bass", then listen, at least, to the Ultimate Ears 900s.

Headphones that use more than one driver are called "multi-driver" headphones. But hybrids are precisely a combination of fittings and "dynamics".

From a technical point of view, hybrid headphones are the most sophisticated. More precisely, it is difficult in the conditions of such a small "box" to arrange the speaker, armature, and make it all play well. The armature, in general, does not care. It depends on the sound guide, filters and emitter. It is more difficult with the speaker - the space given to it, its size, shape strongly affects the sound.

This is why buying cheap hybrids has been a source of skepticism. There are very few decent hybrids on the market, hybrids in which the number of engineering errors is minimized and the sound does not cause irritation and cognitive dissonance. There is a fairly popular model, the Dunu DN-2000J, which has become one of the biggest disappointments in trying to find quality hybrid in-ducts. And this is at a rather high cost and good reputation of the company.

Curiosity, however, prevailed over reason, a month later, the headphones were received in the mail.

Cable, appearance

The general appearance of the headphones is neither delightful nor alienating. I don’t want to know how much they "justify their price", I will only say that the view is not expensive, but neat.

The package bundle is meager - headphones, some nozzles and a small white box. Minimalism? No, direct production savings. But on the other hand, the box is just a marketing element.

The headphones are metal, the material is not known for certain. They have a cylindrical shape with a torus expansion closer to the sound guide. There you can also see the inscriptions about the political orientation of the ears and openings for air outlet. The ear pads are quite hard and unpleasant for everyday use I propose to replace them with complete ones from Etymotic.

A cable with a straight plug, there are no fears of kinking, although, according to empirical experience, absolutely all of these will sink into oblivion after a year and a half. This instance, perhaps, will die from the place of the junction of the headphones with the wire.

The wire is not devoid of a microphone effect, it also gets tangled. The temperature does not "dazzle".

The microphone effect is treated behind-the-ear fit, entanglement - by winding on a source or a prepared "winding", a wire frozen in the cold (if there was one) - by wearing it under a jacket.

I would like to especially highlight this component, because it has been cut off. Yes, not muffled, but pulled out of the compositions. The engineers did their best not to lose in detail, but nevertheless, it sounds the worst here. Perhaps the influence of a dynamic emitter affects, more on it below.

Bottoms

The headphones cannot be called record holders in the low frequency range (in comparison with the M-Duo, for example, in the photo), the main part low frequencies biased towards the medium-high component. The headphones obviously lack midbass, it is either hypertrophied or completely absent, and the lowest, infernal, close to the "woofer" effect and overdrive is not heard even on those compositions where it could be. In most compositions, it is characterized by fat content, slowness and dominance. The armature is "superimposed" from above and this is the only reason why the sound does not roll into a mass of poorly distinguishable instruments.

Nevertheless, it is the dynamics that becomes the main obstacle to playing fast instrumental parts. Firstly, due to technical limitations, and secondly, because here it is clearly superimposed on the mid-frequency range, which generally spoils the overall picture.

By genres

There is a rule - good headphones are good at everything. If you choose acoustics for a specific genre, then this acoustics automatically does not fit the definition of "good".
But after all, no one called Xiaomi Hybrid as such.

And therefore we have the following:
All VHS Glitch and Dynatron melodies sound great, Skrillex feels good. Marlyn Manson and LYUBE in these headphones provoke bouts of aesthetic orgasm and unbridled euphoria.

Anything that has a slow base part with a clearly distinguishable high-frequency component (ideally an instrumental at 60-80 bpm) sounds great. In this environment, headphones can compete with many established models.

Not particularly interesting, but most of the popular compositions from the hip-hop and rap environment sound lively, for example, 50 Cent - In da Club, Africa Bambaata & Soulsonic - Planet Rock, 2pac - Dear Mama and others.

The female vocals are vividly conveyed - a case in point - "Name 505". Tarja Turunen also sings interestingly in the popular "Poison". But most of the Nightwish compositions in these headphones are very unpleasant to listen to - even the Vsonic VSD1 did better here.

Sound quality

I am a big fan of pop music, which I bought almost two years ago and I still chase them in the tail and in the mane.
