Hello sun, give me your phone number. Hi, write me your phone number. The page in classmates does not open

People are more and more familiar with the Internet. V social networks it is not only children and advanced people who are "sitting". Many have found their friends, classmates, colleagues, just interesting interlocutors, and actively correspond with them, share their secrets.

But do not forget about the safety measures that should be followed. Indeed, along with the development of the Internet, an understanding of the convenience of storing funds on card bank accounts has come. So are we doing everything right so as not to lose our savings?

Recently, in the Kirov region and, in particular, in the Podosinovsky district, cases of fraud, as I call it, "on trust" have become more frequent. It was the massiveness of cases and the gullibility of users that prompted me to write this warning.

Hi, I broke my phone, lost all contacts, write me yours

It is with this text that one of the fraud schemes begins. Such a sentence, written by someone familiar, say, on the Odnoklassniki network, usually does not arouse suspicion. Well, you never know, the person has lost, which is not to remind ... At the same time, many forget that the bank is tied to this number bank card... And if a friend's account is hacked, any fraudster on his behalf can receive not only information about your phone, but also, having downloaded the banking application, gain access to your funds.

Here is my personal experience of communicating in classmates with a "burglar"

Of course, my suspicion was also aroused by the fact that the request to provide the number came at 1 am, but ... It is worth showing suspicion, talking to the interlocutor by asking the facts known to both, and he will simply switch to another contact from the hacked account.

In fact, getting a phone number from you is just the beginning. No one will be able to launch the application or make a transfer, knowing ONLY the phone number. To confirm these actions, the bank sends one-time passwords in SMS messages. Here is an example of SMS "correspondence"

As you can see, in each message, when the bank provides the password, a warning is also received:

Do not share this password with anyone, including an employee of the Bank

It is a pity that no one reads such a "long" sentence. And, therefore, scammers manage to find out all the password that goes to the phone of a potential victim. As a result of such a casual conversation, the money earned by hard work is easily transferred to other accounts.

Compliance with other basic security rules will allow you to protect yourself from fraud:

  • Sberbank never asks for passwords to cancel transactions at Sberbank Online. If you are asked to enter a password to cancel the operation, then stop using the service and immediately contact the Bank.
  • To enter Personal Area only ID and password / one-time password required. If any other personal information is required from you, then stop using the service and immediately contact the Bank.
  • One-time passwords should be entered only if the operation is initiated by you. When you receive an SMS with a one-time password, carefully read its content. You should enter the password into the system only if the details of your operation correspond to the details in the received SMS message.
  • Cancellation of transactions in the Sberbank Online system is not provided. If you receive such a message, these are scammers. Stop using Sberbank Online and immediately contact the Bank.
  • Check that a secure SSL connection is established with the official websites of the service: https://online.sberbank.ru/CSAFront/index.do, https://online.sberbank.ru/).

Attention! Roughly the same scheme for extorting data through the QIWI system. Several students of the Podosinovskaya school have already suffered. Do not tell ANYONE the passwords that come to your phone !!!

What if your classmates ask you to enter a phone number on the site for no reason? Or were they blocked by classmates and asked to send an SMS? And when the page in classmates does not open, what to do? Read about the solution to these and other problems here on this page.

We'll warn you right away - a situation when suddenly classmates ask for a phone number or require an SMS should already alert you. Do not make rash decisions - but rather read the text on this page, it is possible that it will save you whole money. We are confident that every user of social networks should be informed about the possible danger posed by scammers in classmates.

In a number of cases, when classmates suddenly ask for a phone number on your website, these are the actions of fraudsters who end up in vain loss of funds on the mobile phone.

As you know, most of the troubles are caused by ignorance and ignorance. And in order to avoid a problem in 99% of cases, one had to know what had to be done (or not done) from the very beginning. But no one warned us .. alas. And now, all of a sudden, the site classmates ask you to enter your phone number or ask for an SMS, and then they charge you money from your phone.

The site has prepared an article that will tell you how not to fall for the bait of scammers in classmates. And if you have already fallen for deception in classmates, what should be done in this case.

He who is forewarned is armed! Read our article - perhaps 5 minutes spent will help you save a couple of thousand rubles (and this, you see, is serious money that you would hardly give to someone unknown).

So, below are the popular methods of deception used by scammers in classmates.

In fact, the described divorce has nothing to do with the social network. After all, these are not classmates asking to enter a phone number, and even more so not classmates withdraw money from the phone, but persons who have nothing to do with this social network.

Classmates require a phone number, SMS

Classmates have blocked and require SMS. When you open classmates in the browser, a window pops up with a message, for example:

  • Your profile has been hacked and blocked. To restore access to your profile, enter your mobile phone number to which you will receive a free SMS with a confirmation code. If you really broke the rules in classmates and you were blocked by the OK administration, they do not ask for SMS.
  • Your page was hacked and spam was sent from it.
  • Our security system detected massive spam messages from your account, and we were forced to temporarily block it. To restore access to your account, you need to go through validation via your mobile phone.
  • Classmates ask for validation. They ask you to confirm that you are a real person.

At the same time, classmates require a phone number or SMS. After the phone number is entered, an SMS comes with a confirmation code. When you enter the confirmation code, the money will be withdrawn from the phone. But, the promised restoration of access to the page in classmates will not happen, instead, most likely, classmates will again demand a phone number.

Message texts may vary. But the essence is the same everywhere - they scare you that you will no longer be able to use your classmates and ask you to enter your phone number or send an SMS. By the way, sometimes after such a page of classmates may stop opening. What to do in this case - read below.

Alternatively, classmates demand to send an SMS. As soon as you do this, they will withdraw money from the phone, and nothing else will happen.

How to get rid of this kind of messages - read below.

Classmates ask for validation or report spamming

On bad sites, a message pops up, stylized as classmates. When you click on it, you are informed that classmates have blocked or spam has been sent from you, or something else like that. And of course, on the page, classmates ask for an SMS, demand a phone. Then it happens according to the scheme described above.

These scam messages usually disappear when you close your browser window. But it also happens that clicking on such an "advertisement" leads to the fact that your page in classmates does not open in the future. What to do in this case, read below.

Cheating classmates through friends

On behalf of the person who is among your friends, a message comes with a request to send him your phone number (under the pretext of losing it, for example). As soon as you tell him your number, you receive an SMS with some kind of code. Your "friend" asks to send him this code. After sending, money starts to be debited from your phone account. In fact, it is not your friend asking for a phone number, but a scammer, on his behalf.

If money is debited regularly and for no reason, this may mean that you yourself have subscribed to some "services" without knowing it. No, services, though no one will ever render you. In this case, unfortunately, you will have to change your mobile number and block the old one.

Copy of site classmates

Copy site. This is a site that is a complete copy of classmates on appearance... Usually, it is only home page... Here, the tricks are as follows:

  • stealing username and password. You try to enter your page, enter your username and password, press the "LOGIN" button, but you cannot enter. And your login details are already with the scammers.
  • pseudo registration. When registering, you are asked to send an SMS with a code, or indicate the number and enter the received code in the registration form. After entering, money will be debited from you, but of course there will be no registration. Remember that the real classmates site does not require a phone number when registering. And even more so, real classmates will never ask for requests to send an SMS.
  • you receive a letter from classmates (the letter can be of any content, from a message about a hack to a notification about an assessment). You follow the link from the letter. A copy site opens - then follow the above scheme.

In order not to fall for a deception - check, if not every time, then at least when a suspicious situation arises, for example, when the site is that the address in the browser corresponds to the real one, or a letter arrives where it is reported that your classmates have been blocked and asked to send an SMS. If there are any other symbols or words in the name of the site, it is very likely that this is a copy site.

Copy of the site classmates - used to steal passwords and pull money.

The page in classmates does not open

If instead of classmates an empty white window opens, then not everything is as bad as it might seem. The reasons that the page in classmates does not open there may be far from the most terrible things:

  • you are simply denied access to classmates (for example, at work) - you can't do anything here, put up with it.
  • your computer is infected with viruses - run antivirus and check for viruses.
  • browser problems - clear your browser cache. Or, try using a different browser.
  • necessary delete hosts virus ... How to do it - read below.

There is a solution!

  • on the site classmates require you to enter a phone number
  • suddenly classmates asking for validation
  • maybe on the website classmates asks to send SMS
  • or even the page in classmates does not open
  • or other strange things happen that make you unable to use your classmates

Do one of the following, which we wrote in the second part of the article.

When classmates can really ask for a phone number or send SMS

When you:

  • registered and want to fully use your classmates, you need to indicate the number and enter the code sent to the SMS. This is done once!
  • decided to change the phone number.
  • want to close your profile
  • when buying OKs, you need to specify the number and enter the code received via SMS.

Save to yourself!
