What BIOS settings should you pay attention to if Windows takes a long time to install or if the start of the installation hangs

There are two main points BIOS settings that can affect the speed of the first stages of the installation of Windows 7 are:

• Serial ATA (SATA) Mode - it is recommended to set to AHCI- this will not only increase the speed of installation of Windows 7, but also invisibly, but will speed up the work operating system further. (Not applicable for hard drives connected via the IDE interface, if you still have any and are used as a system one).
• Disable the floppy drive in BIOS- most often, disabling this item completely removes the hang at the beginning of the installation of Windows 7.
